hi! I am evinine, or ev for short, an aspiring indie pop singer-songwriter from Singapore. my artist name is a play on the words masculine and feminine, combined with my name Evan. it represents freedom of self-expression and being one's true self.

all my songs are self-written and self-produced. I started writing when I was 15 as an emotional outlet, writing about anxiety, depression, and other challenges in life. late at night when I felt most free and unfiltered, I would quietly play guitar and sing in my room. my lyrics are personal, reflective, and often raw; the songwriters that most inspire me are Phoebe Bridgers and Taylor Swift.

I started vocal lessons a few years later and performed some of these original songs at performance days, which is when I first started learning production. now I want to share my music, and I hope my songs help people feel less alone in the face of life's challenges.
